Meet the team

Our team of dedicated equine veterinary surgeons and friendly support staff.

Rossdales Hertfordshire is a first opinion veterinary practice with four experienced veterinary surgeons dedicated to providing a professional, caring service to our clients and their horses and ponies.

Oliver Pynn

Ollie is the partner responsible for leading our team of vets at Rossdales Hertfordshire. He qualified from the University of Bristol in 2001 and subsequently worked in mixed practice for 2 years before joining Rossdales in 2003. He was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Equine Practice in 2008 and joined the partnership in 2009.

Ollie currently works as a stud vet, looking after the bloodstock of a number of our Thoroughbred clients. He also has a variety of sport horse clients and was the Team vet for the New Zealand 3-day Eventing Team between 2008 and 2014, including during the London 2012 Olympics when the team took the bronze medal.

Sarah Moore

Sarah Moore

Sarah qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009. She joined Rossdales Hertfordshire in 2013  after periods working in a mixed practice in Norfolk and in the equine department at Swanspool Veterinary Clinic. In January 2016, she was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Equine Stud Medicine).

Sarah is a key member of our stud farm services team but enjoys a busy and varied caseload, seeing all types of horses and ponies. Her particular interests are in stud farm medicine and diagnosing poor performance and respiratory conditions. She is a keen follower of all equestrian disciplines, especially hunting and point-to-pointing.

He has subsequently worked in a number of equine and mixed practices in the Home Counties, working with a wide variety of horses and ponies across all disciplines, from the much-loved family pony to some of the top polo teams, event and competition horses.

James is an accomplished rider and has worked as a riding extra with the stunt team in various feature films. He is a keen cricketer and when time permits, he also enjoys playing golf, football and rugby.
