Practice History

Rossdales Hertfordshire was created in April 2012, when CP Harris & Associates merged with Newmarket-based Rossdales, an internationally respected equine veterinary practice.

Established by Hertfordshire veterinary surgeon Chris Harris, CP Harris & Associates was a dedicated equine practice with a long history of referring horses to Rossdales. The association began in the 1980s when Chris started referring patients to Tim Greet, formerly the managing partner of Rossdales. In 2012, with Chris nearing retirement, the practice merged with Rossdales.

Chris believed that Rossdales was well positioned to maintain a seamless service to his clients and to support the future development of the practice.

Rossdales partner Oliver Pynn heads the team of four veterinary surgeons and a busy support staff. The practice provides a comprehensive range of routine and emergency equine veterinary services to clients across Hertfordshire and the surrounding area. It provides a first class service locally, supported and extended by the facilities, services and expertise provided by the whole practice, which totals 45 equine veterinary surgeons.

Rossdales Equine Hospital & Diagnostic Centre in Newmarket provides excellent back up for cases requiring specialist investigation, advanced diagnostics, surgery, treatment or intensive care.
